Let's Start Planning!

Why choose an Oregon Coast elopement?

Can you imagine exploring towering Redwood Trees, kayaking crystal clear rivers, off-roading through lush forests, and watching the sun set over the ocean all in one day? Brookings truly has something for everyone.

From rugged coastlines, to lush forests, to roaring waterfalls, to rivers with emerald colored water, you can even enjoy things like kayaking, berry picking, tidepooling, shellfishing, wildlife spotting, and so much more along the Oregon Coast.

While the Oregon Coast is becoming an increasingly popular place to elope, you can still find places with complete peace, quiet, and solitude even during the busiest times of the year.

No matter where you look, everything is alive. Tidepools and beaches are teaming with life, in the spring you can find dozens of species of colorful wildflowers, and even in the winter months when everything is covered in a blanket of rain even the air seems like it's alive thanks to the ever changing marine layer.

About Me

Things to keep in mind when choosing your Oregon Coast elopement photographer

Your elopement day is one of the most important days of your life and choosing your Oregon Coast elopement photographer is not only the biggest choice you'll make but it's also your biggest expense when it comes to your elopement day.

Choosing the right person is a huge choice not only financially but they'll also be the one person present during every moment of one of the most intimate days of your lives, so before you sign on the dotted line make sure you've found the right fit for YOU.

Here's a few things to keep in mind:

- Do they specialize in my chosen area and can they help me choose locations that truly represent me and my partner?
- If you're planning on adding activities into your day, is the photographer passionate and knowledgeable about your activities and hobbies?
- Are they knowledgeable and can they help me when it comes to obtaining permits to get married in the park?
- Are they passionate about my elopement location? A passionate photographer means knowledge and stewardship to ensure the long term health of your ecosystem so when you go back to visit 30 years from now it's exactly how you remember it, if not better.

While you're hiring someone to take your photos, your elopement photographer should be so much more than someone who just presses a button.
