for the adventurous at  heart & lovers of nature.

elopement photography, Planning, & more

get to know me

Hey, I'm Gabbi! I'm a wedding & elopement photographer based in Brookings, OR. I'm a lover of the outdoors and spend most of my time with my husband and our 3 dogs camping, tidepooling, hiking, and enjoying nature!

Elopements hold a special place in my heart. Not only do they throw out the rule book on tradition and allow you the complete freedom to do what you really want but for people who love spending time outside in beautiful places, it's a chance to incorporate  a one of a kind adventure into your wedding day.

Want to get married in a place nobody else ever has before? Hell yeah, let's do it! Bring your dogs? Absolutely! Watch the sun set over the Pacific Ocean with private, sweeping coastline views? Grab the champagne! Walk barefoot through groves of towering Redwood trees? I'll go barefoot too! Spend the morning peeking into tidepools finding different species of animals? I'll bring the guidebook and pocket microscope (seriously though)!

Who Is Eloping For?

People who want the biggest day of their lives to be stress free.

People who want a wedding day that reflects them and their partner in every single detal.

People who want to celebrate their marriage with a unique and kickass wedding experience

People who don't want to rush through the biggest day of their lives

Yep, you read that right - a stress free wedding planning process and wedding day.
Eloping throws out the rulebook on what your wedding day looks which means the opportunities are endless - it also means no unwanted outside opinions.

People who want to have an intimate day with just themselves and their partner

The little details are just as much a part of your wedding story as where you say "I Do." You've spent hours choosing the perfect dress, stationary, suit, and bouquet. These details are a reflection of yourself, your personality, and your relationship; your details are as equally unique as you are - they're the building blocks of your wedding day and shouldn't look like anyone else's.

The big white wedding isn't for everyone - and that's okay. For some couples that looks like having their ceremony in a National Park with the sound of the wind, a stunning view, and their closest loved ones. For other couples that looks like off roading, rock climbing, or kayaking and finishing your day with private vows. Whatever that may look like, it's more than a show, it's an immersive experience that allows you to be fully present on the biggest day of your life.

People who want to plan their wedding day on their own terms.

The day you get married shouldn't feel like you're putting on a production. Not everyone likes the spotlight - and that's okay. Elopements with just you and your partner allow you the comfort to be unapologetically and authentically yourselves. There's no fear of judgment or feelings like you have to say the perfect thing. It's just you and your partner and a wide open landscape.

All too often I hear newly weds say "our day went by so fast, we hardly had any time to really spend with each other." This absolutely breaks my heart to hear. The entire reason for a wedding/elopement day is to celebrate the wild journey of life that you're about to embark on and that incldudes making memories that only you and your significant other share.

Elopements are all about soaking in every moment of your wedding day and adding in time for those extra special moments that aren't in the schedule but pop up along the way.

The best thing about elopements? They completely throw tradition to the wind. Your day can look like whatever the hell you want it to. You can incorporate traditional wedding traditions or you can start a new tradition of your own. You can spend the day exploring desert backroads or a luscious Redwood forest. It's your day and you can do whatever the hell you want

If you could craft one day from sunrise to sunset, go anywhere, do anything, what would it look like?

From the moment I found out that elopements existed, I was in awe. I was amazed at how non traditional and intentional they were. How they're focused entirely on the couple and and not on the guests or the material details. The couple has complete freedom to create the day of their dreams (I mean it is the most important day of your life and you can't get a do-over.)

After doing the big white wedding myself back in 2019, I have so many regrets. My wedding day didn't feel like it was about my husband and I, I felt like I planned the entire thing with my guests experience as the main focus and we were just the afterthought. We made decisions to appease family members and on the day of our wedding, we hardly spent any time together. I have so many regrets having done the traditional wedding and it was largely because I didn't know there was a way to get married that truly felt like "me."

I'm here to provide you with the expertise and support you need to have the day you deserve. Every year on your anniversary, you're going to think back to the day you got married and the memories that you made together. How do you want to feel and what memories do you want to remember?

If you're wanting your wedding to be intentional and and completely about you and your partner - eloping just might be for you.

Why Elopements?

" Gabbi is an amazing person and photographer. She was SO patient  in helping me pick a location and made us a personalized location guide so we could choose the best location for us and our day. She answered all of my questions and timely too! The goal was "little people big trees" and she struck gold. She made me and my husband feel super comfortable during the shoot. We got to be ourselves and have it captured in pictures. These are photos we will cherish forever, and Gabbi I cannot thank you enough for that!!! There was not a single photo in our gallery that I wasn't in awe of. If I lived in California I would seriously get her for anything that I needed photographed for like forever. Seriously not a penny would ever be wasted on her skills! BOOK HER!!"

"Gabbi is so talented, kind, and genuinely cares about not just the art she makes but the people she works with. I last minute wanted elopement photos to capture this time with our dog who was diagnosed with cancer (we sadly didn’t have much time to make it happen), and not only did Gabbi respond so quickly and eagerly take on the photo session with less than a week’s notice, but she treated us like family and had such a warm presence. I felt like she really understood and captured our love for each other, our sweet pups, and the beautiful setting we picked! It’s evident being a photographer is far more than just a job to her. Highly recommend!"

Beth & Paola

"The pictures that Gabbi took were far beyond our hopes in capturing our very intimate day. I can’t say enough good things about the exceptional customer service and highest level of professionalism. When the ceremony was done, we felt like our photographer was part of our family! We couldn’t be happier with the results."
