This intimate wedding at Into The Woods LLC Wedding Venue in Big Bear, California was so amazing! When Kelsey and Sean asked me to capture their wedding photos, I was beyond excited to say the least. The love that Kelsey and Sean share with each other is truly something special. I’m so happy that I got to be a part of their big day. Their wedding had so many cool and unique details. The best part is that it was all decorated and organized by the bride and groom’s family. Come check out this gorgeous couple and their epic wedding venue!
The Wedding Venue: Into the Woods LLC
Kelsey and Sean’s wedding was at the most beautiful venue in Big Bear surrounded by miles of national forest land. It truly made you feel like you were in the middle of the woods away from all of the hustle and bustle of the world. They got married on a stunning elevated platform with a geometric arch surrounded by towering Ponderosa Pine Trees. It was simple yet so beautiful!
One of the things that I loved so much about this wedding venue is that it is a great option if you are wanting to avoid the permitting nightmare for a larger wedding. It was the perfect sized venue and it allowed them to be able to bring their own props such as florals, arches, and chairs. This was great because not only were Kelsey and Sean able to save money on not having to hire vendors, but they also were able to put so much of their own personal touch into it. You can also host your reception/dinner at the venue if you are wanting to celebrate after your intimate ceremony.
Special Moments at this Big Bear Wedding
Kelsey and Sean are one of those very rare couples where you can pretty much feel the amount of love they have for one another. They were just so happy to be together and it felt like nothing could have ruined this day for them. I mean their officiant was an hour and a half late and their cake fell over but they weren’t phased one bit. Just two people who were stoked to be married! Truly so grateful I got to capture their big day!
And although the bride’s sister was unable to attend their wedding, the bride’s younger brother saved the day. He live-streamed the entire wedding so that their sister could be in attendance. I just loved how amazing this whole family was at making the best out of not so ideal situations. It was a day about Kelsey and Sean and no one let anything ruin it!
What made this wedding so memorable was all of the unique and personal details. A close friend and coworker of theirs happens to be a solo violinist and played the most beautiful music during their ceremony. It was such an intimate ceremony and the violin was the perfect addition.

And of course not only was Into the Woods the most epic wedding venue, the large trees were the most perfect backdrop for some stunning wedding photos. After the ceremony, I spent some time with just the bride and groom capturing some special moments of just the two of them. You can truly feel the love that these two feel for one another just by looking at the photos.

Kelsey and Sean’s intimate Big Bear Wedding was a literal dream! They truly made the best out of their wedding day and although everything didn’t go quite as planned, they couldn’t have been happier. From the personal details to the the epic Big Bear Wedding Venue, it was a wedding I will definitely never forget!
