Would you believe me if I told you that this beautiful Southern California elopement was planned in less than 2 months? Tati and Adam’s intimate elopement was put together in about 1.5 months and it was the perfect day. Their ceremony took place in Pelican Point in Newport Beach, California. The elopement took place at the most epic location overlooking the ocean with miles of beaches in both directions. This is the perfect example that a short and sweet wedding day can be just as special and legitimate as a super massive and expensive wedding!
Tati & Adam Say “I Do” at their Souther California Elopement
Although this Southern California elopement was put together super quickly, Adam’s family was still able to fly in from Manchester, UK which made the day that much more special. They only had about 15 guests so they were surrounded by the most special people in their lives as they said “I do.” As a wedding photographer, there is truly nothing better than capturing the love that my couples have for one another. Tati and Adam were no exception and as tears streamed down all of their family members’ cheeks. You could tell everyone knew they were meant for each other!
Sweet Moments and Special Memories
While this wasn’t some extravagantly decorated ceremony, it was absolutely beautiful thanks to Tati and Adam’s friends and family. They all pitched in to make sure that this bride and groom had the perfect wedding day. Both friends and family helped to decorate the most stunning ceremony location. They even had a friend who was kind enough to coordinate everything for them so they didn’t have to stress about it. All of the bouquets were handmade by one of her bridesmaids which added such a unique and personal feel to this Southern California Elopement!
What I love so much about Southern California elopements, especially beach elopements, is that the wildlife never disappoints. Right as Tati and Adam had their “final kiss,” we saw a pod of dolphins playing in the ocean. Truly the most magical moment! It was even more amazing because that was Adam’s family’s first time seeing any kind of wild cetacean before.
Love that Lasts
Tati and Adam are one of those couples where you don’t even need to know them to be able to tell how in love they are with one another. When it came to capturing their wedding photos, Tati and Adam needed absolutely no posing. They were both laughing, smiling, and making jokes with each other the whole time. When I would ask them to do more “serious” poses, Adam would just tickle Tati or mess with her to make her laugh. The way they interacted with one another was truly magical and definitely a love that I know will 1000% last!
Their elopement was perfectly and intentionally theirs. It was so intentional and the entire focus of the evening was on the couple and nothing else!
