When Stacy reached out to me, she let me know that she needed a photographer for her ocean elopement ASAP and by ASAP she meant the following day.
While most weddings and elopements are planned months in advance, Stacy & Eric put together the sweetest intimate ocean elopement in 2 days. This was possible with the help of all of their amazing family and friends. When I asked why they decided to plan the entire thing in two days, Eric looked at me and without hesitation said, “I should have made this woman my wife a long time ago. I didn’t want to spend another day not being married to her.” I just about cried right on the spot. There was so much love between Stacy, Eric, and their daughter Ariana which just made the entire day even better.
The location couldn’t have been more perfect with a view of the Pacific Ocean while they exchanged vows. The golden haze of the sunset made the evening feel like something out of a movie.
After the beautiful ceremony overlooking the ocean, I grabbed Stacey and Eric and we snuck off to capture some beautiful photos of just the two of them. I think it is so important to have some alone time after the ceremony so you can really just take it all in. I do my best as a wedding photographer to make sure that I am capturing the most raw and intimate moments between my clients on their special day.
When we snuck off for their photos the lighting was PERFECT! I loved the way that these romantic, golden hour photos turned out. Take this as your sign to never skip out on hiring a wedding photographer, even if it’s the day before your wedding. I promise you will not regret it 30 years from now when you can look back on the beautiful images of one of the most special days of your life!
